Commuting to Boracay

Well known for its White Sand Beaches, Boracay is famous with the locals as well as foreigners. The island is mainly divided into 3 stations or zones. Station 1, 2, and 3. The high quality resorts are found in station 1, and the mediocer resorts are found in Station 3.

    • From the Manila Domestic Airport, take a SEAIR, Asian Spirit Airlines, Interisland Airlines, Air Philippines, Corporate Air, or Cebu Pacific flight to Caticlan. The flight takes about an hour.
    • From Manila North Harbor Pier 8, ride an MBRS Shipping Lines ferry to Caticlan. The ride takes about 12-17 hours.
  2. Take a tricycle or walk to the Caticlan port. Ride a boat to Boracay. The ride takes 15-30 minutes.
Route 2: Manila-Kalibo-Caticlan-Boracay
  1. Go to Kalibo, either:
    • From the Manila Domestic Airport, take a Cebu Pacific flight to Kalibo. The flight takes about an hour.
    • From the PAL Terminal, take a Philippine Airlines flight to Kalibo. The flight takes about an hour.
  2. If there are no buses or jeepneys from the airport to Caticlan, ride a tricycle to the terminal on Roxas Ave.
  3. Go to Caticlan, you can either:

Route 3: Manila-Tablas-Boracay

  2. If there are no buses or jeepneys from the airport to Caticlan ride a tricycle to the terminal on Roxas Ave.
  3. Go to Caticlan, you can either:
    • Ride a Southwest Tours, Island Star Tours, Boracay Star Express, or 7107 Island Tours bus or an SB Lines, RH Lines, Jovial Lines, or Gunding Lines bus to Caticlan. The ride takes 1-2 hours.
    • Ride a jeep to Caticlan.
  4. Take a tricycle or walk to the Caticlan port. Ride a boat to Boracay. The ride takes 15-30 minutes.
